Newton's Second Law is a law explaining the relationship between force and acceleration. Newton's second law of motion states that force (f) is equal to the mass (m) of an object multiplied by the acceleration (a) of the object. If there is a net external force acting upon an object then the object will accelerate in a directly proportional manner to the amount of force acting on the object. If an object has a great deal of mass then a smaller acceleration will be present as opposed to exerting the same force on a smaller less massive object. Meaning that acceleration is proportional to one divided by the mass of the object. (A=1/m). Newton's Second Law of Motion states that "the acceleration produced by a net force on an object is directly propotional to the magnitude of the net force, is in the same direction as the net force, and is inversely proprtional to the mass of the object". Friction is a force that acts between two objects in contact with each other to prevebt the other from moving. friction first depends on the surfaces of the objects with the idea of the ruffer the side, the more friction will be created, along with force, forcing the to object togather. when two objects exert force on one and other the exert presure on their surfaces, to find presure, use the equation, ( pressure = Force/area of contact ). Free fall depends on the mass and weight of the object. Both are effected by earth's constant gravitational ecceleration( Give or take air resistance ). and will change weither it will make one object fall faster than another. When falling with air resistance the faster the object falls the more air resistance will be created. air resistance, (R) is usually ignored from its minor effects.
